Yes on Pro, Business and Enterprise. The device ceiling in the code that runs the service is set to infinity for all three, and the only device cap is on the 14-day trial, which stops at 25. Enrolling machine number 901 adds nothing to the invoice, and neither does machine number 5,000. The number with a ceiling on it is concurrent sessions.

Estimate your peak concurrent sessions, not your headcount: there is no seat charge, and one person can hold several sessions open. A team of forty that takes turns fits inside Pro's 25; the same forty piling onto devices during one incident does not, and that is what Business and its 100 are for. If your peak is unpredictable, Enterprise removes the ceiling. We would rather tell you Pro is the wrong plan now than have you find out during an outage.

Nothing is deleted. Your account keeps its devices and its audit log, and the trial takes no card, so nothing is charged either way. Picking a plan carries on with the devices you already enrolled still enrolled, under the same names and with the same audit history behind them.

The same $49 on Pro or $199 on Business. Enrollment has no per-device line at any count, so the five thousandth machine costs what the first one did. The number worth checking at that size is your peak concurrent sessions. Pro holds 25 open at once, Business holds 100, and Enterprise has no ceiling.

With an enrollment token, not with 900 browser approvals. Mint one token per customer in the dashboard, cap how many machines it may admit, give it tags, and push the install line through your RMM, your configuration management, a golden image, or the remote-access tool you are replacing. Machines name themselves from their hostname and arrive already tagged. How that works, with the unattended install line for both platforms.

No. There is no seat count in any plan and no per-operator charge, so hiring a technician does not move the bill. Single sign-on is on every plan, which is what makes adding and removing people something you do in your identity provider and nowhere else. What the plans count is sessions open at the same time.

Without a running plan you cannot open a session or enroll a device, so access through jssh stops until you start one. The machines keep running, and so does everything on them. There is no jssh operating system and no jssh protocol: they keep their own sshd, their own host keys and their own users, so cancelling changes nothing about the machines themselves. In the account, your data and your enrolled devices stay. Stopping the agent and removing its binary leaves a machine as it was the day before.
